Wongcharoensin Foundation
The Wongcharoensin Foundation was established on July 29, 2008, with the primary purpose of conducting activities for the public benefit, promoting and supporting comprehensive social development. The Foundation focuses on the following key areas:
Main Objectives of the Foundation
- Promote Education – Support educational opportunities for youth and disadvantaged individuals to develop human resources sustainably.
- Preserve Buddhism – Support Buddhist activities, including temple restoration and religious events, to preserve the nation’s cultural heritage.
- Vocational Training for the Underprivileged –Provide vocational training and career development for disadvantaged groups in society, strengthening communities.
- Support Sports Activities for People with Disabilities – Promote the potential and quality of life for people with disabilities by supporting sports activities and competitions at various levels.
Collaboration with External Organizations
The Foundation also collaborates with various agencies and charitable organizations, such as:
- Hospitals
- Elderly Care Homes
- Orphanages
The goal is to contribute to sustainable benefits for society and extend compassion to vulnerable groups.
Founder’s Vision
The establishment of the Wongcharoensin Foundation stems from the firm resolve of the Chairman of the Charoensin Group, who sought to give back to the Thai nation, which has nurtured and supported the Group’s growth alongside Thai society in a stable and continuous manner.
With this determination, the Wongcharoensin Foundation continues to carry out its mission for society and remains committed to playing a role in driving Thailand toward a more equitable and sustainable future.
