APPLIED DB PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (ADB) was established in 2005 from the merger between DB Chemical Industrial Company Limited, a manufacturer of industrial adhesives, and Applied Chemical Industry Company Limited, a manufacturer of PVC compound. The company has been listed on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), The Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2017.
The company’s main businesses include:
1. Plastic compound products for various applications: electrical wire and cable, medical equipment, and general use.
2. Industrial adhesive products
3. Silicone Sealant products and DIY products (DIY products are small-sized glues and sealants for household users)
Our main customers are from various industrial sectors, located in ASEAN, Middle East, Africa, Europe and South America through direct distribution channels and through distributors under our own brand. We also provide OEM and ODM manufacturing services for world renown clients.
In 2023, the company has spined off Adhesive and Sealant businesses and established subsidiary company, ADB Sealant Co., Ltd. “ADBS” in order to increase efficiency and flexibility in business operations. In 2024, AICA ASIA PACIFIC HOLDING PTE. LTD., a subsidiary and wholly owned by AICA KOGYO CO., LTD., a Japanese organization, has joined investment by acquiring 51% stake in ADBS, Following this capital increase, ADBS has a registered capital of 645.09 million baht, enhancing our position as a key player in industrial adhesive and sealant industry and supporting market growth in Asia and global market.
